Our motto is “We want all children with disabilities and young women with disabilities to be empowered socially and economically for sustainable development”. No easy task, but we have the knowledge, passion, and innovation to make a difference.

SBSD’s work aligns with four Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Goal 4: Ensure Inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. SBSD is promoting Inclusive education for children with and without disabilities to access quality education, our main focus is inclusive schools.
Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages. SBSD is improving the health of children with disabilities through clubfoot surgery, health care, sports, and physical exercises for children with disabilities in schools and we will continue to do so.
Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. SBSD focuses on social and economic empowerment for girls and young women with disabilities in the areas where we operate through life skills training and daily living skills for girls with disabilities, entrepreneurship skills, and livelihood support for young women with disabilities and single mothers of children with disabilities.
Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere. SBSD addresses disability as a cause and consequence of poverty through different interventions.
